What’s it all about?

The Petone Splash and Dash is a great way to grab a little after work, mid week exercise and still be home in time for tea. We have great Merit & Spot prizes, a friendly, low key atmosphere, and the event caters for all abilities from absolute beginners to elite swimmers and runners. Entry fees for the Fun Runs is $10, all other events cost $15.00.

Fun Run - 5 km and 3 km

Sea Swim - 500m

Splash and Dash - 500m Swim / 3km Run

Novice - 100m Swim / 2.5km Run

This series takes place from the Heretaunga Boat Club on the Petone Esplanade, and involves a 500m swim in the sea and a  run or walk along the Foreshore. Team entries are welcome. Wetsuits are allowed but not essential. Comprehensive water safety is provided. The event runs rain or shine!
